What is POP?
Pop! is a traveling pop-up studio that captures kids as they truly are — playful, joyful, and full of personality. Think luxury photography, but relaxed, fun, so quick and accessible brought to you by Classic Kids, with 30 years of experience photographing children and families.
How long is a session?
About 10-15 minutes — enough time to capture real, beautiful moments without losing their magic and keeping it easy on you.
What should my kids wear?
Simple, timeless outfits that let their personalities shine. No need to fuss — the focus is on them.
Do you photograph families too?
Pop! is designed for kids’ portraits only. (For full family sessions, visit our sister brand, Classic Kids.)
When will I see my portraits?
You’ll view your portraits shortly after your session and choose the pieces you’d love to have and hold.
WHAT’S YOUR TEAM LIKE?
We’re not just photographers — we’re moms, former nannies, former teachers and all-around bigtime kid-lovers. Our team is small but mighty, traveling everywhere to capture authenticity, spirit and the heart of children. It's truly all about your kiddo and having fun, serious fun! We are patient, present, deeply playful and empathetic, we make the whole session joyful, easy, and unforgettable. Because kids really are the best in this world.
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH LIKE?
No bribes. No “cheese.” Just your kid being… 100% them! We love the real deal. Attitude, pouts, peekaboos and hilarity. We are here for it all. We let personality shine naturally, without forcing poses or expressions. The trick? Relax, watch, and let the magic happen. This isn’t about perfection — it’s about the real deal
WHY DO YOU CROP OFF HEADS?
It’s not a mistake — it’s Pop! style. Cropping the top of the head draws the eye straight to your child’s expression and eyes, the heart and soul of every image. Plus, it gives them freedom to move and be themselves, so we capture authenticity over stiffness. It allows the viewer to feel more.
DO YOU INCLUDE COLOR AND BLACK & WHITE?
Yep, always both. Our black & whites aren’t flat or overexposed — they’re timeless, rich, dynamic and detailed with a signature depth. We preserve everything that makes your kid, them — freckles, twinkles in their eyes, that perfect imperfection. No filters, no trends, just portraits you’ll love forever. Our BW style was developed where we (our sister company, Classic Kids) first started out - in the film darkroom - our BW style is modeled from our roots in black and white film over thirty years ago!
DO YOU EDIT THE PHOTOS?
All images get our signature Pop! touch — cropping, lighting tweaks, color correction — in both color and black & white. Want something extra? Advanced retouching is available for an additional fee.
WHERE CAN I PRINT THE PHOTOS?
We’ve got a bespoke lab connected to your gallery featuring gorgeous custom curated products that best match our look. Some products exclusive only to us! Our lab guarantees fine art prints with true-to-life colors. Your memories deserve the best — and our lab delivers outstanding quality and finished results that will pop in your life!
